    Position Description

    Incumbent works closely with direct reporting relationship and with other team members to install, maintain, and/or to use irrigation systems for monitored application of water for landscapes for client properties.

    Chemical Technician

    Essential Functions

    • Designs and/or installs irrigation systems
    • Inspects, audits, adjusts, and repairs systems and system components (sprinklers’ nozzles, tilt, arc, radius, interference, rotation time, leaks [pipes, valves], valve function, layout/spacings, nozzles, rotors, etc.) to ensure water delivery is efficient (conserves water and other resources) and effective (landscapes, turf [lawn and sports] are healthy
    • Sets controls for computerized (smart) watering systems by zone, by watering time, etc.

    Role Requirements (Skills, Knowledge, Experience, Education)

    • Possesses valid Utah certified irrigation technician license or is willing to obtain Utah chemical applicator license within 90 calendar days of date of hire is desired
    • Possesses 2-3 years’ experience as irrigation technician (preferred)
    • Possesses valid Utah driver’s license
    • Possesses ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance

    Compensation

    • $18.92 to $25.00*depending on qualifications and experience
      • Subject to change to align with Company compensation, cost of living, internal equity, and labor market
