The desert’s newest upscale Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced, professional Landscaper
AZURE PALM HOT SPRINGS is an exciting and unique resort oasis located in the Miracle Hill area of Desert Hot Springs. Our world-renowned mineral water is the heart and soul of our resort. We have 40 guest accommodations, full-service spa, the largest mineral water pool in So Cal, a healthy café and…a natural hot spring oasis!
This is a special property, and we are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Landscaper. The ideal candidate will have professional experience, have great attention to detail, be a self-starter and be reliable. Our building is over 50K square feet, and we have 5 acres of resort grounds so there is always something in need of attention.
Duties:
Maintains garden and lawns, including mowing, trimming, pruning, raking, and weeding. Must seek out problems before plants die! Maintain and repair irrigation systems. Weeding and mulching landscape beds. Trimming trees, hedges and shrubs. Apply fertilizers, maintain landscape design features, remove weeds/dead plant material and overseeing repairs as needed.
Requirements and Skills: A minimum of 3 years' experience in a landscaping or groundskeeping role. Must be able to safely operate maintenance equipment including tractors, mowers, leaf blowers, and aerators. Lift 50 pounds and handle the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, and climbing. Excellent organizational skills. Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Works well independently and with a team. Strong knowledge of pest management and basic lawn maintenance. Ability to work in a variety of outside conditions for long periods of time. Adhere to safety precautions.
