Responsibilities: • Perform routine water feature maintenance , including debris removal, water treatments, and seasonal cleanings. • Diagnose and repair pond equipment , such as pumps, filters, skimmers, and aeration systems. • Troubleshoot and fix leaks, liner damage, and plumbing issues. • Test and balance water quality to ensure a healthy ecosystem. • Install and service pond aeration systems, filtration, and lighting. • Work with natural materials like stone, plants, and aquatic life to enhance water features. • Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery to complete projects. • Perform landscaping tasks related to water feature construction and repair, such as grading and planting. • Communicate with clients about maintenance schedules, water feature care, and repair recommendations. • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and with high-quality results. Qualifications: • Experience in landscaping, hardscaping, construction, or maintenance preferred. • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor. • Basic knowledge of mechanical repairs , including pumps, plumbing, or small equipment, is a plus. • Comfortable working with water features, stonework, and aquatic plants (training provided). • Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing leaks, water quality issues, and equipment failures. • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet for extended periods. • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small machinery. • Willingness to learn and adapt to a specialized trade. • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. Compensation: $18 - $25 per hour + OT
