Ballenger Landcare is a commercial specialist that provides responsible water management consulting, design and maintenance services for master planned community developers, commercial landscape architects and property management firms.
Duties
Scheduling and coordinating the work of laborers and other staff members to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget limitations
Managing the project budget by ordering supplies and labor as needed
Maintaining records of work performed on each project including expenses and materials used
Maintaining quality control, and promoting a positive culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.
Ensuring that all safety procedures are followed on site during construction or installation projects
Reviewing plans and designs created by designers to ensure compliance with zoning regulations and city codes
Consulting with architects, designers, engineers, and contractors to ensure compatibility between construction projects and site conditions
Install and repair landscaping systems for commercial properties
Coordinating with other team members to schedule work activities and track progress
Communicating with clients to discuss project goals and expectations
Ensure proper water distribution and coverage for lawns, gardens, and landscapes
Operate power tools and hand tools to complete installation and repair tasks
Requirements
Previous experience as a Supervisor/Manager in Irrigation or similar role REQUIRED
Well versed in all aspects of our operation Landscape Construction, Irrigation, and Landscape Maintenance
Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively
Knowledge of garden and landscape maintenance practices
Familiarity with irrigation system components, such as pipes, valves, sprinkler heads, pumps, and controllers
Understanding of lawn care principles and water management practices
Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve landscape system issues
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in installation and repair work
Valid driver's license
Excellent organizational skills and project management
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Microsoft Office Skills.
Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.
Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats and in a timely manner.
Ability to conceptualize, plan and organize multiple programs and assignments effectively.
Ability to work on complex and confidential tasks utilizing judgment, tact, and resourcefulness.
Skill in developing and maintaining good working relationships.
Must be able to lift, reach, bend, twist, push, pull, squat, grasp and use arm-hand coordination on a consistent basis
Be able to work weekends and holidays, mornings and evenings as business demands.
Must be able to stand for up to four hours.
Bilingual a MUST!
