Ideal Candidate:
- Proficient in operating multiple digital printers such as Durst, HP, Vutek, and Epson.
- Strong understanding of digital graphics, color profiling, and ICC color management.
- Excellent mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Organized and efficient with an understanding of lean production principles.
- Capable of maintaining high standards of quality in a fast-paced environment.
- Caldera RIP software experience is a significant plus.
Responsibilities:
- Operate various high-end digital printers, ensuring all prints meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Review job orders and pre-press files thoroughly to verify instructions and ensure completeness before production.
- Conduct quality checks and sign-off on completed work to maintain high-quality standards across all outputs.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Project Management, and Pre-press teams to ensure timely and accurate project completion.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and operational protocols.
- Perform routine maintenance and manage equipment checklists to ensure all machines operate at peak efficiency.
- Engage actively with team members, contributing to a positive and productive work atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a digital printing or related role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across various departments.
- Technical proficiency with industry-standard graphic design and RIP software.
Working Conditions:
- Shift: Tuesday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Reports directly to the Master Printer/Production Manager, with no direct supervision but extensive teamwork involvement.
Compensation:
