Overview:
SERVPRO of Frisco, a trusted leader in restoration services, is looking for a skilled and dedicated Large Loss Mitigation Specialist to join our growing team. As a vital member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for managing large and complex loss mitigation projects, ensuring the efficient and effective restoration of properties impacted by fire, water, mold, and other disasters. The ideal candidate will have experience in the mitigation/restoration industry, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high standard of quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee large loss mitigation projects from start to finish, including initial assessment, scope development, and final restoration.
Estimate Development: Accurately assess damage and create detailed estimates for mitigation work, using industry standards and best practices.
Customer Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the mitigation process, keeping them informed and managing their expectations.
Team Coordination: Supervise and coordinate field technicians, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure timely and high-quality work.
Site Inspections: Perform regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Contract and Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring estimates align with client needs and project requirements, and ensure timely invoicing and collection of funds.
Safety Compliance: Enforce safety standards and conduct job site inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
Customer Education: Educate clients about the mitigation process and ensure they are aware of their options and the restoration timeline.
Documentation: Complete all required documentation accurately, including contracts, liability waivers, and project-specific forms.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience: At least 2 years in the restoration industry or related field, focusing on mitigation and large loss projects. Experience as a project manager, estimator, or in insurance adjusting is preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in mitigation estimating software (e.g., Xactimate) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, crawling in confined spaces, and lifting up to 25 pounds. Must be comfortable working in various environmental conditions, including wet, humid, or noisy job sites.
Customer Service: Strong customer service and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive client relationships.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and budgets.
Safety Focus: Knowledge of safety standards in the restoration industry.
Certifications: IICRC certifications (Water Damage Restoration, Fire & Smoke Damage Restoration, Mold Remediation) are preferred. Additional certifications are a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and communicate.
Occasionally required to lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions, and occasional exposure to mechanical parts, high places, and hazardous materials (appropriate safety equipment provided).
