    Position Overview: As a Manager of Last Mile Operations, you will play a key role in connecting with customers, assisting with route planning and monitoring, and contributing to the company's mission to deliver exceptional transportation solutions.     Key Responsibilities:

    Oversee daily operations of contract carriers, including managing schedules, monitoring routes, and maintaining positive relationships with carriers and helpers.

    Develop, mentor, and train staff on company policies and procedures, ensuring they meet performance goals.

    Manage personnel responsibilities such as interviewing, hiring, training, disciplining, and resolving issues.

    Ensure compliance with corporate warehouse policies, procedures, and programs.

    Supervise employees in accordance with company policies and applicable laws, including performance evaluations and addressing complaints.

    Utilize route planning software to create efficient delivery routes.

    Manage the dispatch of contract carriers, addressing any issues that arise during the day.

    Identify operational inefficiencies and restructure routes to improve overall performance.

    Train and develop contract carriers and dispatchers to exceed customer expectations.

    Ensure timely and accurate completion of work, including taking photos for every job.

    Allocate additional resources as needed to meet operational demands.

    Qualifications: Minimum Requirements:

    4 years of experience in logistics and supervisory roles.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field.

    Availability to work various shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends, with occasional travel between branches and regions.

    Experience mentoring and training less-experienced team members.

    Bilingual in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).

    Strong business acumen and ability to partner with management teams.
