Our law firm is looking for an attorney for our law and motion department to represent our clients well. The prime candidate will work seamlessly with both senior partners as well as administrative staff in an effort to effectively serve our clients. Responsibilities: • Prepare various legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence • Conduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motions • Advise clients by weighing available options toward a successful outcome and plan a course of action • Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients’ needs after analysis Qualifications: • Work independently while handling a heavy caseload • Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree and experience in representing clients for at least 2 years • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is needed • Communication, problem-solving, decision-making, interpersonal, and public speaking skills required • Advanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) required Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 yearly
