Ambitious and growing law firm looking for a Law Clerk to deliver excellent service to clients. Opportunities for growth and advancement.

This position is within the Workers' Compensation Department at Abramson Labor Group. You will have the opportunity to interact with the clients' files throughout the lifecycle of their case and attend hearings relevant to issues that may arise during a client's case.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a high-volume Workers' Compensation caseload
• Communicating with relevant parties involved in a case
• Attending all case related hearings
• Maintaining case notes
• Reviewing and evaluating case files
• Possible traveling to assigned Workers Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) locations

This role has the ability to promote into an Associate Attorney role once the CA Bar requirements are fulfilled.

Qualifications

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Juris Doctorate required or anticipated 2025 graduation
• Desire or willingness to take and pass the CA Bar Exam in 2025
• Strong attention to detail, with ability to observe details on a computer or other electronic screens
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently with little supervision
• Bilingual (English + Spanish) Preferred
• Proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Outlook, and Teams
• Other duties as assigned
