A growing Personal Injury law firm is looking for a rising star to handle AP, Payroll and light HR duties.
Duties include:
- Process settlements by receiving high volume of checks and depositing into correct accounts in a timely fashion
- Pay medical providers/lien holders as noted on settlement statement
- Invoice processing, check runs in Quickbooks
- Be main point of contact for daily check & ACH confirmations from bank
- Run payroll
- Keep track of and validate employees' PTO time
- Validate employee expense reports
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable for a law firm
- Personal Injury, Worker's Comp or Insurance Defense firm experience preferred
- Interest in learning payroll/HR duties & potentially growing into Office Manager role
