LLG is a dynamic, relationship-oriented boutique law firm looking for a Professional Legal Administrator to work directly with the Firm’s Principal/Owner to oversee everything except the practice of law. This includes not only strategic planning, project management, and critical administrative and financial oversight, but also a key leadership role in shaping and sustaining the team and firm culture. This is not an administrative assistant, paralegal, or office manager position. Candidates should really view this role as similar to a hybrid COO/Chief of Staff/Integrator role in non-legal business. The right candidate is a Pro at workflow, systems, and project management, who deeply understands employee engagement, who is metrics-driven and KPI-obsessed, and who will be invested in making important contributions to the success of the Firm. You must be able to work well with people in a constructive manner that encourages teamwork and great team culture. Responsibilities: You must be able to show evidence of your prior success with: • Managing and growing cross-functional teams across operations, human resources, financing, technology, and office management • Playing a role in the management of teams of 10+ people and navigating tight budgets • Systems management and process refinement to ensure matters are handled appropriately so that client needs are met, legal and ethical requirements are met, and clients receive excellent service • Employee engagement and leadership, management, supervision, and termination • Measuring what matters and using common financial reports to make business decisions (budget variance, PL, cashflow forecast) • Managing vendors such as bookkeepers, accountants, marketing, and technology services in a constructive but also cost-conscious way We care about skills and experience.
