    Our busy law office is growing, and we need a legal case manager to work alongside attorneys and achieve clients’ goals. Our ideal candidate will have experience in case management as a paralegal or legal assistant and is skilled in drafting documents, managing case files, and conducting legal research. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. Our case managers play an essential role in ensuring that clients’ goals are met. Responsibilities: • Consult with attorneys and provide recommendations with regard to cost and time-effective ways to accomplish the client’s goals • Assist attorneys with all aspects of case management, including docketing deadlines, billing, and providing reminders as necessary • Complete legal research to obtain documentation regarding medical records, health insurance, social security, and medical providers • Organize and maintain all case files, and information concerning engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with the law firm policies • Examine legal documents to assure all legal requirements have been met • Review medical and billing records and draft demand letters to insurance companies • Communicate with insurance companies and update them about clients' treatment status • Follow up with clients and medical providers regarding clients' treatment status Qualifications: • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software • Possesses exceptional organizational skills as well as effective communication skills, both written and oral • Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but a 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable - High school diploma is required • Experience drafting legal documents and conducting legal research is vital Compensation: $48,000 - $54,000 per year
