You’ll serve as the compassionate voice of our law firm, fielding inbound calls from prospective clients in their time of need, screening, and surveying for potential cases, and helping our lawyers manage their meetings. We love helping people and assisting with their legal needs and are in need of an experienced Intake Specialist to join our incredible team. Your job will be to receive incoming client calls, follow detailed scripts, and fill out intake forms while talking to clients. You will need to set the tone and pace of your calls while maintaining a professional attitude and showing empathy and patience with potential clients. Compensation will be based upon experience. Responsibilities: • Supervise new client onboarding and current client files through data entry and paperwork collection to ensure our cases are managed efficiently • Help foster prospective client streams by providing input into awareness and law firm partnerships initiatives alongside the marketing team • Set appointments for potential clients that meet our criteria to keep our lawyers’ schedules organized and grow our caseload • Conduct various tasks around the office such as managing spreadsheets, writing emails, faxing and copying, and transcribing notes to make sure all processes run smoothly • Evaluate prospective client inquiries and phone calls, analyzing their case fit and making sure they feel seen and heard • Survey potential clients to determine the right fit with our practice, while listening to all phone calls in an empathetic manner • Collect payments for appointments • Manage follow-up communications with potential clients via phone calls, emails, and text, as necessary • Run weekly and monthly reports for weekly/monthly leads, consultations, and retained Clients Qualifications: • Previous legal experience a plus • Excellent and empathetic verbal and written communication skills required • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred • Skilled with Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel • Familiarity with case management and CRM systems a bonus • Strong computer and data entry skills • Customer service or sales experience a plus • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
