This senior management role requires superior leadership aptitude, executive-level communication skills, and a background in efficient law firm operations, human resources and facilities, including office relocations and buildouts. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the day-to-day management of and long-term strategic planning of the administrative functions of the office. Active membership in the Association of Legal Administrators is a must. CLM is a plus.

Human Resources & Operations

- Work with firmwide departments regarding the purchase of office furniture, furnishings and equipment as necessary
- Manage office services and vendors to ensure the office runs smoothly and seamlessly in service to employees and clients
Financial Management
- Prepare, analyze and maintain accurate operating and capital budgets for all areas of responsibility
- Review and approve invoices for vendor payments and ensure adherence to budget
- Lead efforts toward appropriate expense management and efficiency throughout the office
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years of recent experience as a Firm Administrator or senior-level business manager in a sophisticated, multi-office law firm
- Demonstrated track record of progressive human resources success with expanding law firms
- Proven leadership and management skills with an ability to successfully implement ideas and positively impact change
- Experience with facilities management, including design, construction, contract negotiations and project management
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles to include budget and expense management
- Strong communication (written and verbal), problem-solving, leadership and diplomacy skills that allow for successful interactions with attorneys, staff and vendors
- Strong relationship and team-building skills
- Ability to make sound business decisions
- Project management expertise
- A Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred

The expected annual salary for this position is commensurate with experience. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors, including, but not limited to, experience level, education, law firm leadership/management background, business communication skills, references, and other relevant requirements.
