We are seeking a family law associate who can assist our clients in navigating the sensitive legal issues of family law, including divorce, child custody, CHINS/DCS, and protective orders. Jobseekers should be equally familiar with prenuptial agreements, divorce, child support, and paternity matters. The family law associate should be able to effectively advocate and negotiate in highly stressful and emotional situations. Responsibilities: • The ability to effectively manage a fast moving and high-volume caseload • Must be able to hit the ground running to serve our already established clients • Conduct legal research, create legal documents, including correspondences, motions, pleadings, legal contracts, affidavits, and settlement proposals • Represent clients in court hearings and other proceedings as needed • Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action • Handle the division of marital assets • Work closely with paralegals and other attorneys to ensure swift action through the litigation process • Keep client files properly organized and up-to-date Qualifications: • Active license in good standing to practice law in Indiana • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work with our team of supervising attorneys, paralegals, and staff to best serve client needs and grow our client base • 3+ years of experience in a variety of family law cases • Proven record of success in advocating for clients Compensation: $100,000 - $170,000
