    Summer Associate Internship Modern Law is seeking law students to join our Summer Legal Internship from May through August of 2025. This is a great opportunity for law students wanting to gain hands-on legal experience in family law. Our biggest priority is to provide our law students with the most meaningful and practical experience during their time with us. We are passionate about family law and are honored to give back to the next generation of lawyers! We're a family law firm with 4 locations throughout the state. Our legal internship program is an immersive experience where our law students regularly interact with our legal team through court shadowing, team meetings, and mentorship. Our law students will gain hands-on legal experience through our Legal Clinic providing pro bono and limited scope help to family law clients. This allows for real-world skill building, client interaction, and the opportunity to discover your areas of interest as a future lawyer. To be eligible for our program, applicants must be: • 2L or 3L law students • enrolled at an accredited school of law • Arizona Supreme Court Rule 39(c)(4) eligible Responsibilities: • Provide assistance to family law clients for various pro bono and limited-scope projects including but not limited to drafting various documents, such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses • Maintain client confidentiality at all times and adhere to ethical standards • Consistently follow deadlines and complete task assignments • Follow all outlined guidelines, procedures, and protocols Qualifications: • This position is only available to law school students who are Arizona Supreme Court Rule 39(c)(4) eligible • All applicants must be a 2L or 3L at an accredited school of law Compensation: $20 hourly
