Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Lawn Service Mowing Operator. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain the appearance and health of lawns for our residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate should have experience operating lawn mowing equipment and a passion for delivering high-quality lawn care services.

Responsibilities:

Mowing Lawns:

Operate various types of lawn mowing equipment, including riding mowers, push mowers, and trimmers.

Ensure lawns are mowed efficiently and according to specified patterns or customer preferences.

Adjust mower blades to achieve desired grass height and ensure even cutting.

Trimming and Edging:

Use edgers and trimmers to trim grass around obstacles, walkways, flower beds, and fences.

Edge along sidewalks, driveways, and curbs to create a clean and manicured appearance.

Basic Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance on equipment, such as checking oil levels, sharpening blades, and cleaning after each use.

Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly to supervisors.

Lawn Care Knowledge:

Identify common lawn grasses and understand their growth patterns.

Apply basic lawn care techniques, including watering, fertilizing, and pest control as directed.

Customer Interaction:

Interact professionally with clients to understand their lawn care needs and preferences.

Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with completed work.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols when operating equipment and handling chemicals.

Follow local regulations regarding noise levels, disposal of lawn waste, and environmental practices.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a lawn mowing operator of at least 1-3 years.

Knowledge of lawn mowing techniques and equipment operation.

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required for the position).
