Job Responsibilities • Owning your cases with help and guidance • Thinking ahead and preparing in advance • Communicating often and effectively with clients • Conduct research and write pleadings, briefs, and motions • Argue hearings and conduct depositions • Handling all phases of discovery • Negotiating settlements, informally or in mediation • Supporting and collaborating with fellow attorneys • Working closely with and providing leadership to paralegals and other administrative staff who support you Qualifications • Florida Bar member with 3+ years of experience, including active litigation work • Background in litigation, including motions, depositions, and mediations • 3+ years handling Property Insurance cases, on either plaintiff or defense side • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; you’ll speak with clients and opposing counsel often • Able to manage a full caseload independently and stay organized • Familiar with Microsoft Office and legal research tools like Westlaw • You’re professional, respectful, and comfortable with collegial relationships—even across the aisle • Trial experience is a plus, but not required • You’re competitive, driven to win, and committed to constant improvement • You want to help build and grow a great law firm What we offer: • 401(k) with matching. • Health Insurance. • Flexible vacation policy. • Openness to hybrid work. • Frequent, straightforward bonuses tied directly to performance. • BONUSES: Regarding the minimum and maximum pay listed on this posting; job boards require we put minimum and maximums.
