Benefits & Perks of Working at a Goddard School:
Twenty-Seven (27) paid personal days (Yes 27!!!) per year as follows:
Ten (10) paid personal days per calendar year
Five (5) paid personal days between Christmas and New Year's Day when the school is closed
Nine (9) paid holidays per calendar year.
Five (5) sick days per year (available to all employees, accrual starts with no waiting period)
Up to 100% tuition reimbursement subject to performance and commitment to work for a specified period.
Employer will offer and pay for 50% of the health insurance cost including dental and vision insurance making insurance extremely affordable to employees.

Our lead teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Teachers will plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment. Teachers work directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service.

Qualifications
Lead Teacher Qualifications (Preschool) (1) Bachelor's (BA or BA) or Associate's degree in early childhood education and a NYS Teaching Certification; or (2) Bachelor's (BA or BA) Associate's degree in early childhood education and 2 years experience in a licensed early childhood program; or (3) Associate's (AA or AS) degree in early childhood education and a study plan showing current enrollment in school which will be leading to a Bachelor's degree within seven years
Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
Develops relationships and communicate effectively with children, parents, and faculty members
Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
