    Job Summary

    The lead technician will coordinate the daily activities for its team, assign jobs, direct operations of maintenance personnel and work to minimize delays and increase production and efficiency. Lead and coordinate diagnoses, adjusts, repairs, inspect, troubleshoots, repair aircraft systems, engine, electrical, avionics malfunctions and overhauls the aircraft fleet.

    Responsibilities

    Checking on aircraft maintenance discrepancies, troubleshooting, and ordering parts in order to ensure that proper turnover and continuation of operation for each aircraft is carried out.

    Effecting liaison with the pilot, as required to discuss maintenance log items as entered by flight crews.

    Ensuring that all departing aircraft are airworthy in accordance with FAR's and the Aztec Airlines Manuals.

    Ensure all work or servicing performed is properly documented, and that all equipment required for the conditions of the flight is aboard and properly stowed.

    Plan direct, layouts and coordinates the activities of the assigned maintenance department. Responsible to supervise the maintenance department

    Inspect, and repair aircraft open job items plus routine maintenance.

    Inspect and diagnose defects.

    Responsible to work the line and also delegate the duties.

    Reads and understands operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings.

    Overhauls and tests parts or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.

    Fits bearings to adjust, repair, or overhaul equipment.

    Diagnoses faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs.

    Examines and inspect the work done by the staff

    Performs other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the Director of Maintenance

    Job Qualifications

    Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant certificate for 5 years.

    Valid Passport, Valid Driver’s License and able to pass the contingency hiring

    Hight School Diploma (GED).

    5-7 years maintenance and supervising experience hangar or line environment.

    Full understanding of applicable FARs, applicable manuals, safety standards, and airworthiness.

    Must Own Tool Box and tools.

    Preferred to have experience on Piper Navajo Chieftain, Beechcraft and Cessna 208 Caravans aircrafts

    Within 6 months of obtaining position must have successfully completed Company's fleet familiarization and handling.

    Within 1 months be proficient in ground handling company aircraft.

    Must be flexible to multiple working schedules, holidays and weekends.
