    We are seeking a Lead Audio Engineer to join our team! As an audio engineer you are going to record, mix, and edit music and audio for production. You will need to ensure the best acoustic results by setting up and operating sound equipment. You will guide the talent in preparing for quality sound during production. You are expected to be knowledgeable in using and producing quality sound for every show while also collaborating with a full production team. You will be working with the post-production team in creating great sound quality for posted and streamed videos. You will be expected to stay on schedule with production times as well as staying consistent and efficient during pre-production. All of this is expected of an audio engineer as well as being open to growth, improvement and new creative ideas.

    Responsibilities:

    ○ Set up and test sound equipment before events, broadcasts or recordings. ○ Record, edit and mix audio tracks (instruments, vocals etc.) ○ Enhance sound quality and add sound effects to recordings if necessary. ○ Create and maintain sound libraries. ○ Resolve technical issues as they arise. ○ Live sound for events and theatrical productions. ○ Production sound for film/video ○ Post-production recording, editing, mixing, and mastering music recording ○ Project team lead: supervise audio assistants during a production. ○ Provide coordination of project details with client, producer. ○ Serve as a communication hub for the audio/sound department or a sub-department. ○ May oversee the technical work of contractors. ○ Some evening, weekend, and holiday work may be required.

    ​Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in communications, media arts, or related field; plus four years' experience in audio engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience. ● Deep understanding of industry audio specifications and standards. ● Demonstrated knowledge of time code, frame rates, the interface of sound to picture, room acoustics, microphone patterns and microphone placement. ● Demonstrated ability to operate a large variety of professional sound and audio systems. ● Deep understanding of industry best practices in audio production and post-production. ● Demonstrated ability to make good decisions in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. ● Self-motivated with demonstrated troubleshooting/problem-solving skills. ● Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. ● Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with senior executives. ● Ability to learn and adapt to new platforms and systems. ● Ability to meet deadlines. ● Must be able to regularly lift/move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
