    Lead Barista/Cafe Attendant We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to lead our café and buffet service team at our bustling hotel. As the Lead Barista/Café Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations of both the buffet and café, delivering exceptional guest service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Responsibilities: • Oversee the daily setup and breakdown of the buffet, ensuring all food and beverages are well-stocked, fresh, and presented according to hotel standards. • Supervise a team of 6 attendants, assigning tasks and ensuring timely, efficient service for guests. • Maintain up-to-date inventory for the café, kitchen, and minibar (across 100 rooms), and place weekly orders with various vendors. • Manage budgetary constraints for café and minibar supplies, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. • Utilize systems like Tabit, Toast, Micros, or similar platforms for efficient management of operations. • Ensure café and buffet areas, including tables, chairs, and equipment, are sanitized and cleaned according to health and safety standards. • Refill coffee, beverages, and buffet items proactively to meet guest needs. • Design creative menus, promotional flyers, and manage social media marketing campaigns for the café. • Serve guests courteously in the dining area, taking orders and providing attentive service. • Train and mentor new team members, ensuring proper adherence to service protocols, cleanliness, and customer interaction. • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and special requests with professionalism and efficiency. Qualifications: • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the food service industry, with a leadership or supervisory role preferred. • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills, with an ability to multitask effectively. • Experience with POS systems like Tabit, Toast, or Micros is essential. • Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring high-quality service and operational excellence. • Creativity in menu planning and marketing is a plus. • High school diploma or equivalent GED certification is required. • Food safety certification (ServSafe or similar) is a plus.
