Job Summary
Growing, family-owned property management and development company with a large portfolio of historic buildings in business for more than 40 years is seeking an experienced, well-rounded carpenter to run a small crew and manage a jobsite. Our focus on preservation, restoration and the adaptive reuse of historic buildings will provide an experienced carpenter a great opportunity to showcase their knowledge and abilities. We do everything from minor repairs during apartment flips to major renovations from shell to finish. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with all types of construction materials and all phases of construction from framing to finish. In this role, they'll need to be comfortable managing 1-3 carpenters (depending on job size) of various skill levels, directing them on specific tasks and assist/coach them through any problems they encounter. If you are an experienced Carpenter with a positive attitude, we want to hear from you.
Required Skills:
Framing, dry wall & spackling, trim & finish work, hardwood floors, hanging cabinets.
Additional Skills:
Tiling, roofing, light plumbing, light electrical, HVAC knowledge, appliance installation, locksmithing.

Responsibilities
Follow all safety rules and regulations
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Construct rough framing
Install and repair fixtures and materials such as drywall, windows, doors, cabinets, flooring, trim, and hardware
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Carpenter is required
Current OSHA certification is preferred
Strong understanding of math and measurements
Ability to safely operate hand and power carpentry tools
Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
Have a valid driver’s license, vehicle and insurance
