Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for contributing to various new home construction and remodeling projects. From initial plan review to final punch list completion, you will collaborate closely with our project managers and company owner to ensure the successful execution of each project. The role encompasses all aspects of residential construction, including general carpentry, material procurement, subcontractor coordination, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute all phases of residential construction, including framing, finish carpentry, window installation, minor masonry, building envelope and punch lists.

• Generate material lists, oversee lumberyard runs, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.

• Conduct regular site visits across multiple job sites, addressing any issues that may arise and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship.

• Collaborate with subcontractors to streamline project workflows and achieve project milestones.

• Interact professionally with clients, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

• Utilize a wide range of tools and equipment effectively and safely across various job sites.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in residential construction, with proficiency in framing, finish carpentry, and related trades.

• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction techniques, and industry best practices.

• Ability to identify and resolve problems proactively, ensuring smooth project progress.

• Excellent organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on professionalism and client satisfaction.

• Self-sufficiency and a proactive approach to task management.

• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and schedules.
