What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a Lead Carpenter to oversee job sites, manage crews, and ensure top-quality craftsmanship. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, highly organized, and skilled in both rough and finish carpentry. This role requires hands-on work, project oversight, scheduling, budget management, and direct client interaction.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 8+ years of residential remodeling experience
• 3+ years leading a crew
  
• Expertise in rough and finish carpentry, including cut-ins, framing, trim, and molding
  
• Proficiency in construction management software, especially Builder Tend
• Strong knowledge of building codes and related trades
• Reliable work vehicle
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and handle physically demanding tasks
• Valid driver’s license and insurance with a clean record
  

What You’ll Do

• Perform high-quality carpentry work
• Supervise carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure work is on time and up to standard
• Keep projects on schedule and within budget
  
• Enforce jobsite safety protocols and maintain company tools/equipment
• Maintain regular client communication, providing updates and addressing concerns
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and contracts
  
• Manage change orders and ensure documentation is completed before work begins
• Coordinate material orders and subcontractor schedules
• Attend pre-construction meetings, inspections, and final walkthroughs
  
• Submit daily timecards and attend weekly progress meetings
