Lead Cleaning/Restoration Technician Job Summary
Assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of restoration services. Follow industry standards and EPA guidelines for all water damage/mold remediation jobs, and where judgement is needed, have the knowledge and common sense to create a logical plan. Operate a truck mount for both water extraction and cleaning. Clean carpets, upholstery, area rugs etc. with eco-friendly products using the truck mount or a portable cleaner.
Lead Cleaning/Restoration Technician Responsibilities
Effectively perform all restoration services the company offers.
Never leave the vehicle unattended with keys inside.
Communicate effectively with customers.
Perform basic equipment maintenance.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
Inspect completed work.
Complete the technician’s daily log.
Complete Work Orders.
Complete job arrival, departure and completion in real time on mobile device application.
Complete appropriate restoration documentation.
Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
Maintain inventory of related supplies.
Ability to read product type on label before using it on jobs. For example, using the product labeled Tile & Grout cleaner in large print on tile & grout.
Lead Technician Qualifications
Traits: Honesty, integrity, competency, logical, attention to detail, acumen, discernment, strong work ethic, flexible
Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: IICRC Water Damage, AMRT, ASD, familiar with S500 and S520 standards, etc. (TX MRC and/or MAC License Preferred) - please do not list certifications as active if they are not.
Criminal Background: Have the ability to pass the TDLR background check if not already licensed in TX.
Driving Record: A clean driving record is a must.
Credit: Good credit preferred.
