    We are hiring a Lead Cook. The lead cook, or head cook, is the kitchen manager who oversees restaurant operations and other cooks. They work closely with restaurant managers, front-of-house staff, and other cooks to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and food is prepared consistently. Responsibilities: • Coordinate food preparation, ensure ingredients and final products are fresh, and follow recipes • Create menu dishes, experiment with recipes, and suggest new menu items • Order food supplies and equipment, and manage inventory • Coordinate kitchen staff schedules, delegate cleaning and preparation tasks, train and evaluate junior chefs and kitchen staff • Ensure adherence to food safety and cleanliness standards, and approve and "polish" dishes before they reach the customer Qualifications: • Extensive culinary experience • Lead or supervisory experience
