Key Responsibilities:
Advanced Dry Cleaning & Spotting
Leverage your expertise in dry/wet cleaning plus leather, suede, fur, and specialty garment care.
Perform spotting and finishing with an advanced eye for quality.
Production Leadership
Oversee day-to-day production workflows, ensuring timely processing and consistent quality.
Collaborate with the team to set priorities and meet production goals.
Quality Control & Inspection
Help conduct inspections before and after cleaning, identifying stains or repair needs.
Develop and uphold quality assurance standards, training staff on best practices.
Apprenticeship Under a Seasoned Expert
Work closely with our Dry Cleaning Supervisor (20+ years’ experience, DLI CPD-certified) to hone advanced techniques.
Expand your skill set in bridal gown preservation, specialty garment care, and leading-edge cleaning methods.
Team Mentorship & Cross-Training
Coach junior staff on pressing, spotting, and cleaning fundamentals.
Foster a collaborative environment where knowledge-sharing elevates the entire team.
Process Improvement & Innovation
Contribute ideas for new technologies, process refinements, and customer service enhancements.
Help implement production performance tracking, ensuring all garments are scanned and documented efficiently.
Participate in production process optimization for our rapidly growing business.
What We’re Looking For:
Prior Dry Cleaning Experience (Must-Have): You’ve spent time on the line, perfected your spotting/cleaning craft, and tackled challenging fabrics (leather, suede, fur).
Passion for Quality: A keen eye for detail; you never let a stain or imperfection go unnoticed.
Desire to Grow & Teach: Excited to apprentice under an industry veteran while also mentoring newer team members.
Certification-Ready or Willing to Certify: Already holding any DLI CPD or CPW credential is a plus; if not, we’ll support you in obtaining them (and reward you with an hourly pay increase).
