New opportunity for an experienced Designer, Drafter, Detailer, or Engineering Technician. Ideal experience with electrical design related to power generation & distribution equipment & systems (wind, solar, generators, UPS systems, etc.).
- Anticipate $70,000 - $80,000+ (based on experience)
- Comprehensive package including health, PTO, holidays, and more
- In-office 4 days/week, 1 day remote (subject to change)
Role:
- Partner with electrical engineering teams to develop and refine designs, technical drawings, and schematics.
- Leverage SolidWorks (with a transition to Inventor—training provided!) to create and update 3D models.
- Organize and manage engineering files and documentation, ideally using Autodesk Vault.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure designs are accurate, efficient, and ready for action.
- Bring your expertise to projects involving power generation and distribution equipment, helping turn concepts into reality.
Seeking:
- A Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) or an Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of proven experience.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD—bonus points if you’re already comfortable with all three!
- Experience with Autodesk Vault (preferred, but not required—we value a willingness to learn).
- A solid grasp of design principles and calculations to deliver precise, high-quality work.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate project drawings across multiple tasks.
- A sharp eye for detail and the capacity to juggle priorities in a fast-paced environment.
