Chief/Lead Estimator – Construction

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Chief Estimator to lead our estimating team and oversee purchasing for large-scale construction projects. This role is for someone with deep expertise in construction drawings, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex project budgets, procurement, and buyouts.

Oversee & lead the estimating department, ensuring accuracy in cost estimation and procurement.
-Manage centralized purchasing, ensuring materials are sourced within budget.
-Review bids, compile leveling sheets, and finalize vendor selections.
-Analyze construction drawings to assess scope and ensure precise budgeting.
-Create and manage GMP (Guaranteed Maximum Price) documents.
-Support junior estimators in writing proposals and improving their skills.
-Work closely with project managers to ensure alignment between estimates and execution.
-Handle multiple projects simultaneously, requiring strong organizational and multitasking skills.
