    Endoscopy Center of Inland Empire, located in Murrieta, CA, is hiring for a full-time Lead GI Technician to join our dedicated team.

    About the Opportunity

    The Lead GI Technician is responsible for overseeing the proper cleaning, high-level disinfection, and maintenance of all video endoscopes and accessories used in the GI Endoscopy suites. This role includes assisting physicians and staff nurses during procedures, and ensuring the highest standard of patient care is delivered. Additional responsibilities include managing daily preventive maintenance, monitoring record-keeping for sterilized and high-level disinfected equipment, and overseeing the work of other GI Technicians.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the daily operations of the GI Endoscopy suite, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and disinfected.
    • Assist physicians and nurses during GI procedures.
    • Train and oversee GI Technicians in proper sterilization techniques and procedure assistance.
    • Maintain accurate records of equipment disinfection and sterilization.
    • Ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
    • Support the smooth operation of the suite by managing supply inventory and addressing equipment needs.

    Required Skills

    • Current Basic Life Support certification or the ability to obtain it prior to starting work

    Required Experience

    • High school diploma or GED required
    • One (1) or more years of experience as a GI/Endo Tech strongly preferred
    • Experience processing equipment used in surgical procedures
    • Experience setting up procedure rooms and trays
