    The Goddard School of Clinton is looking for passionate full-time Lead Teachers to join our team in our Infant classroom.

    As a Lead Teacher, you will take the helm in orchestrating the daily operations of your classroom, meticulously planning and delivering enriching educational and recreational activities. Your role is pivotal in fostering a safe, nurturing, and inspiring environment for our children. You will collaborate closely with both children and parents, ensuring that each interaction reflects the highest standard of care and exceptional service, embodying the premium experience that defines our preschool.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Develop and Implement: Craft and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with The Goddard School curriculum.

    Nurturing Environment: Foster a safe and inclusive space where infants can explore, learn, and grow.

    Family Communication: Build and maintain positive relationships with families, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

    Classroom Leadership: Supervise and mentor assistant teachers and support staff in the infant classroom.

    Development Tracking: Keep detailed records of each child's development and progress, conducting assessments to guide individualized learning.

    Professional Growth: Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on early childhood education best practices.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or relevant field OR CDA Credential (or willingness to obtain, with our support)

    At least 2 years of experience working with infants in a licensed early childhood setting

    Strong understanding of infant development and age-appropriate activities

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    Collaborative spirit with the ability to work in a diverse team environment
