    US GOVERNMENT  Full Public Trust Background Investigation clearance is required.

    Lead a team of architects to evolve the GOV infrastructure architecture in alignment with the future state architecture, review and approve infrastructure requirements, develop and maintain infrastructure architecture artifacts and documentation in accordance with document templates, provide direction for moving current GOV applications to containers and the Cloud, and make recommendations for increasing DevSecOps maturity.

    Primary Duties:

    • 1/2 of job involves developing infrastructure solution architectures & managing 3 other senior infrastructure architects and coordinate team activities
    • 1/3 of job is making system design recommendations for migrating current system to containers and the Cloud
    • Provide estimates for Impact Assessments
    • Provide recommendations for implementing DevSecOps practices

      Required Skills/Level of Experience:

    • At least 10 years of large-scale, complex system development, in collaboration with stakeholders, including customers, partners, project teams, and vendors, infrastructure architectures
    • Strong customer communication skills, both oral and written
    • At least 4 years experience maintaining infrastructure requirements and traceability against business and application requirements for large, complex Java EE applications
    • At least 4 + years experience migrating applications to the cloud
    • Over 4 years experience supporting the migration of monolithic applications to microservices
    • 4+ years experience with the Linux platform
    • 4+ years experience with server and network virtualization
    • 4+ years experience with information security for large, highly sensitive Java applications
    • Experience with CM tools, such as IBM Engineering Workflow Management (EWM) and Git SCM – 4+ years
    • Experience developing (V)ROM estimates in response to requests for new work – 3+ years
    • Experience with infrastructure products, including JBoss EAP, WebSphere Application Server, and IBM MQ - 3+ years
    • 2 years experience in implementing DevSecOps on complex projects
    • 5 years experience in leading team(s) of architects and/or developers

      Preferred Skills:

    • Experience with relational database technologies
    • Experience with CMMI Level 3 Process Area
    • Experience with Agile Lean methodologies
    • Experience with IaC tools such as Puppet/Chef/Ansible
    • Experience with WebMethods EAIB, API Gateways, and ESB
    • Experience with Ping Identity
