This is a full-time, in-office role based in our Villa Park IL office and occasionally commuting to our Stone Park office. You will be the final point of contact for potential clients who have already been pre-qualified and spoken to our Intake team. Your job? Confirm that they are a "right fit" client for our firm, accurately convey the legal work that we do every day, and ultimately, sign up new clients to the firm. Responsibilities: • Support initial consultations with potential clients to assess their legal needs and provide guidance on the services offered by the Driver Defense Team • Serve as the key point of contact for Intake Agents to assist in closing the sale with Potential New Clients (PNCs) • Negotiate client engagements, including fee arrangements and contract terms, to secure new business for the firm • Provide comprehensive information about our legal services and differentiate Driver Defense Team from competitors • Maintain visibility with our Intake team and with potential clients who have not yet retained our services, addressing any concerns and providing additional information as needed • Collaborate closely with attorneys, legal assistants, and firm leadership to ensure a seamless transition for new clients and facilitate the onboarding process Qualifications: Required: • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and licensed Illinois lawyer • Previous experience practicing law, preferably in criminal defense, DUI, traffic ticket defense, or a related field • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely • Ability to build rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds and establish trust and credibility • Commitment to providing outstanding client service and ensuring a positive experience for every individual you interact with Bonus: • Prior experience in sales or client acquisition roles within the legal industry • Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures related to traffic violations and DUI cases • Fluency in Spanish or other languages commonly spoken in the community Benefits: • Competitive salary with performance-based incentives and bonuses • Paid Time Off • Retirement 401(k) matching up to 4% • Employer-paid Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance • Employer-paid life & disability insurance Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience and performance.
