Position: K-2 Stem Lead Instructor Do you love working with kids and technology and have previous experience in Early Childhood Education, have experience working with children in a preschool setting, enjoy creating STEM activities, and willing to learn basic coding? If you answered yes, this might be the job for you!

What are we looking for? Code Ninjas Cupertino is looking for a Lead Junior Instructor who can help create a fun and safe environment where children ages 5 to 7 can explore basic coding and STEM activities. The Lead Junior Instructor will be responsible for monitoring and teaching Code Ninjas JR program as well as developing curriculum to support their technological development.

Responsibilities include:

Create a positive, safe, and fun environment in which student can grow

Learn and teach Code Ninjas’ JR curriculum

Develop/modify STEM activities to support JR and camp curriculum

Assist with Day Camps, Parent Night Outs, and Camps

Follow opening/closing and cleaning duties daily

Qualifications:

No coding experience required.

Experience working with children ages 5 and up (1 year – Required)

Enthusiastic about working with kids; mentoring and teaching

Patient, kind, and understanding

Works well with others; collaborates and takes pride in their work

Upbeat and fun individual with a passion for technology and learning

Willing to learn basic coding and explore new technology

Ideal for PreSchool teachers or Early Childhood Education students!

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday afternoons & Saturday mornings

Morning-Early Afternoon days when neeeded for camps
