    Making a difference? It’s the standard here! We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Lead Massage Therapist to join our growing team. In addition to providing massage services, this role involves helping to lead the department to ensure seamless operations, outstanding guest satisfaction, and a cohesive team environment. In this role you will offer valuable support to management, and your colleagues. Compensation will include per service commissions plus tips, and an hourly pay during Lead duties.

    LMT Job Responsibilities:

    Promote the health and wellness benefits to guests receiving massage therapy on a regular basis.

    Provide personalized, high-quality massages and treatment plans that exceed client expectations.

    Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness standards.

    Lead LMT Responsibilities:

    Leadership & Training: Mentor, train, and support massage therapists to maintain service excellence. Assist with onboarding and training team members when needed in various modalities.

    Collaborate with Management & Team: Address department needs, help implement strategies, and assist in ensuring smooth daily operations. Foster a positive, collaborative work environment by working with both team members and management to achieve departmental goals.

    Operational Oversight: Ensure treatment rooms are clean, stocked, and meet spa standards.

    Policy & Procedure Compliance: Follow all Hand & Stone and spa policies while holding the team accountable to do the same.

    Job Requirements:

    Active Florida massage therapist license and adhere to state licensing laws and regulations.

    Ability to carry massage therapy liability insurance and pass a background check.

    Ability to communicate effectively with clients and spa staff.

    A great attitude, a consistent work ethic, and understand and believe in the healing benefits of massage therapy.

    Knowledge of Swedish Massage required, other modalities preferred, all modalities add increased commissions.

    Nights and weekends are required for the Lead position to ensure consistent leadership presence and departmental support during peak times.
