  • Responsibilities

    Contract Role

    Length: 27 Months (~ June 2027)

    Hybrid: Remote (50%) and Onsite in Albany, NY

    Level 3 position

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsibilities will include translation of the business requirement and use cases to develop enterprise applications and unit testing of same.
    • Work with the technical leads and architects to transform the high and low-level system design into technical components.
    • Develop applications based on technical requirements, design & architecture principles & standards
    • Build reusable code and libraries for platform & shared services
    • Produce work products and applications that reflect and ensure system design and delivery are in line with business needs and project plan.
    • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

    Mandatory Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of experience (Level 3 position) working on complex projects with 2 or more years in a leadership role as a Developer
    • 7+ years of experience in utilizing a variety of technologies and frameworks to achieve project goals, adapting to new tools as necessary with hands-on experience in full stack development, using modern OO programming languages (.NET C# preferably) for Web Services, Database, or web application development.

    Desirable Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of experience in developing and maintaining applications using distributed version control (e.g. Azure DevOps, Git, SonarQube) including experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery techniques
    • 5+ years of experience developing with .NET Core, .NET 6, .NET 8. 7+ years of developing web applications utilizing MVC Patterns 5+ years of developing web applications utilizing Angular. 5+ years of experience developing, building, and testing Java EE applications using modern IDE's.
    • 5+ years of experience Performing database operations, optimization, and maintenance using SQL Server
    • 5+ years of experience Performing database operations, optimization, and maintenance using Oracle
    • 3+ years of Domain knowledge and experience in health and human services, especially in Integrated Eligibility System programs such as PA, TA, SNAP, HEAP, Fair Hearings, Child Support, etc.
    • 4+ years of experience with Web APIs and JSON.
    • Masters/ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
