Hydrate IV Bar is an IV therapy spa promoting wellness from within throughout locations in Colorado, Arizona, Utah, Dallas and coming this fall, Austin Texas.
Clients come to us for our wellness services, including vitamin injections, signature IV therapy cocktails, and NAD+ injections and infusions, but they remain with us for the experience we provide and expertise of our knowledgeable staff.
Hydrate IV Bar is currently seeking to fill our LEAD NURSE position in Austin, TX. This is a full time position.
Salary: $73K - $78K plus bonuses and PTO.
Position Summary
This position will be responsible for following all protocols and procedures of a Registered Nurse while administering IVs and injections; including properly mixing IV bags, performing vital signs, etc. The Lead Nurse will educate our clients in our products and services including the benefits of IV packages and injections, NAD+ and other wellness offerings. This position will also educate clients about membership packages and other services to encourage return clients.
The Lead Nurse is responsible for ensuring that the spa(s) have adequate medical supplies, vitamins, nutrients, and medications for daily IV therapy operations, as well as functioning as part of the management team; communicates directly with the supervising physician, pharmaceutical representatives and pharmacy staff, and Hydrate Home Office support teams if applicable.
The Lead Nurse will also train, coach, and support the nursing staff to ensure protocols and procedures are followed and ensure that Hydrate IV Bar is maintaining strict patient confidentiality in compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nursing
Active, unencumbered RN license
CN3 / CN4
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification current
Minimum 2 years experience in administering IV / IM injections
Minimum 1 year nursing manager a plus
Required to pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX)
Proficient knowledge and experience in IV therapy and vitamin injection protocols and offerings are highly preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
Passionate about providing excellent patient care
1 or more years retail, inventory, clinical or spa experience is highly preferred
Willing to undergo background check
Minimum of 21 years of age
Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Compliance with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the industry is necessary

Working Conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 40 pounds (double with assistance).
Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail, PLUS proficiency with advanced programs such as Google Drive, Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Work, etc.
