At The Learning Experience, We have designed a curriculum around the six stages of development and built a foundation for all kids to learn, play, and grow in our state-of-the-art facilities under the care of nurturing teachers and staff.
We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated, creative, and positive person to join our team. Our hours of operation are from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. We are looking to hire a full-time Toddler Teacher for our center. In this position, you will be working with children from 1 year of age to 2 years old.
In this position, you will be responsible for:
Working with children on art, sign language, helping them express themselves, leading story time, etc.
Be positive, energetic, and upbeat with the children as you guide them through the day.
Providing feedback to the parents about their child's day.
Being a creative teacher, who enjoys working with young children!
Skills, Education, and Experience
Previous experience teaching and working with children in any setting
A great personality
Good work ethic
Excellent communication skills
Preferred Two- year degree (in a child-related field) or higher/ Has EDU 119
NC Credentials I & II/ CDA required
Preferred CPR & First Aid Certification
Qualifying Criminal Background Check Letter from North Carolina DCDEE
Preferred ITS/SIDS Training Certification
Able to interact with Students of all ages and development levels.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $14.50 - $18.00 per hour
