    Primrose School of Alpharetta East seeks an enthusiastic Lead Teacher who wants to make a difference and put their talents to use.

    We are currently looking for a Lead Teacher for our Preschool Pathways (2 1/2 - 3-year-old) age group to join our established professional teaching team.

    Our Location: Primrose School of Alpharetta East (5425 McGinnis Village Place, Alpharetta, GA 30005).

    Monday thru Friday between - 7:00 am - 6:00 pm

    The Lead Teacher is responsible for general classroom management and supervision, which includes the education, personal care, hygiene, and positive discipline of the children in their care. He or she plans and implements the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum, which includes activities for children that stress physical, social, and emotional growth and provides materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in active play. The Teacher prepares materials and classrooms for class activities and conducts all activities in a safe, organized, and productive manner.

    Qualifications:

    Previous childcare experience working with this age group is required

    Potty training experience is required

    Must be energetic and fun

    Ability to relate positively with young children of all ages

    Nurturing, warm, friendly, and patient

    Must have the desire to make a difference in the lives of young children

    Must work well with a team

    Must continue to accumulate required hours of training as required by state licensing agency and/or corporate office

    Must be able to lift up to 35lbs in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs and child safety
