Benefits:
$1,000 Sign-on Bonus after 90 days of employment
Hourly compensation is $15.00-$18.50/hour, depending on experience and education
Closed Weekends, Nights and Holidays
Set Schedule (Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm)
Paid Time Off (PTO) -
40 hours 1st year,
80 hours 2-5 years
120 hours 5 + years
Paid week off during Winter Break (Week of Christmas)

Responsibilities:
Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and programming..
Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior.
Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions.
Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School at Macland Pointe, and the local, state, or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
Qualifications:
Must meet basic requirements of local childcare regulatory agency
1- 3 years of previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood education, Preschool, PreK, or daycare program required
Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
