    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to provide structure, guidance, and engaging learning experiences for children ages 2-5. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, a passion for working with young children, and the ability to create a positive, organized environment. This role is perfect for someone who can develop age-appropriate activities and maintain a structured routine that supports children’s social, emotional, and cognitive growth.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Classroom Management: Establish a structured, organized, and safe classroom environment. Set clear expectations for behavior and routines, ensuring a positive and well-managed space for learning.

    Curriculum Development: Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that support developmental milestones in areas such as language, motor skills, socialization, and early literacy. Incorporate structured play, arts, and music into the curriculum.

    Instruction: Lead daily activities, including circle time, meals, rest time, and outdoor play. Balance structured learning with opportunities for free play and exploration.

    Child Development: Monitor and document each child’s progress. Provide individualized support as needed, addressing developmental, social, or behavioral needs. Communicate progress and concerns to parents.

    Communication: Build strong relationships with parents, providing regular updates on their child’s development and addressing concerns promptly. Maintain open communication to ensure a collaborative approach to each child’s learning.

    Collaboration: Work closely with assistant teachers and other staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive classroom environment. Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies for improvement.

    Health & Safety: Ensure all safety, health, and hygiene protocols are followed. Keep the classroom clean, safe, and conducive to learning, following all regulatory and safety standards.

    Qualifications:

    Education: Degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Associate’s or Bachelor’s preferred).

    Experience: 2-3 years of experience working with children ages 2-5 in a preschool or childcare setting.

    Certifications: CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).

    Skills & Qualities:

    Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create structure in a busy environment.

    Ability to design and implement developmentally appropriate activities.

    Excellent communication skills with both children and adults.

    Patience, creativity, and flexibility.

    Passion for fostering a positive and supportive environment for young learners.
