Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing person to join our team and teach our Preschool Prep Program. As experts in early child development, My Gym understands the impact preschool or pre-kindergarten education has on children’s emotional, social, and cognitive development. Our program incorporates a modified My Gym class with academic stations focusing on literacy, math or number sense, fine motor skills, sensory experiences, science experiments, and imaginative group activities. Each week is themed based (e.g., “At the Zoo,” “Fall Festival,” “Colors of the Rainbow,” etc.). Through our My Gym fitness programming, literacy stations, science experiments, sensory and imaginative small group activities, and fundamental academic preschool skills, our students will enter preschool and kindergarten with confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning. In this role, you will lead this engaging program designed for a gentle transition towards independence while focusing on movement, coordination, and social skills in a fun and safe environment.

Responsibilities
● Lead Teacher implementing our My Gym fitness programming, literacy stations, science experiments, sensory and imaginative small group activities, and fundamental academic preschool skills.
● Foster a fun and welcoming atmosphere that encourages engagement and participation
● Prioritize the safety of children while they learn and enjoy their activities
● Offer guidance and support to help children reach their developmental milestones
Qualifications
● Proven experience working with young children in an organized play environment
● Strong team player with a dedicated work ethic
● Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff and guests
● Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds frequently
● Capacity to stand for extended periods (up to 6 hours)
