    POSITION SUMMARY:
    The Construction Coordinator will assist an on-site Construction Management team with daily, weekly, and monthly administrative reporting.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Update the ECI (Equipment Control Index) daily based on deliveries.
    • Update the MS Project Schedule and CM summary Excel sheet to track manpower day-by-day.
    • Provide weekly schedule updates, daily summaries, progress tracking on projects, schedule adjustments, recovery plans, and details on site deliveries.
    • Manage site transportation and accommodations.
    • Assist in quality control management.
    • Manage productivity reporting.
    • Assist in job site safety management.
    • Enter timesheets (manage contractors and self-perform labor) and ensure they are scanned and sent to the accounting team.
    • Assist in managing petty cash and miscellaneous site purchases, including tracking expenditures.
    • Manage all site delivery documents.
    • Handle supply requisitions and procurement.
    • Take site photos to document and track project progress.
    • Travel up to 50-70% yearly (domestic and international), which may include up to 260 days/year. Typical schedules include 1-2 weeks onsite with weekends at home; international travel may involve 3 weeks onsite with a week back home.
    • Assist in producing daily and weekly reports.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with employees at all locations.
    • Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.
    • Promote a positive working environment to achieve the organization’s goals.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    Work is performed in an office and uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear personal protective equipment in designated areas.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. on a regular basis is required.

    KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

    • An Associate’s degree (or higher) in Construction Management or a related technical school program is preferred. Non-degreed professionals should have a minimum of 2 years of equivalent experience.
    • Knowledge of basic drafting skills and methods is required, ability to sketch in Bluebeam or on plans/hard copies preferred.
    • Knowledge of project scheduling is preferred, familiarity with MS Project or other scheduling software is ideal.
    • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings using Bluebeam, Adobe, or hard copies.
    • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
    • 1-3 years of experience in a construction environment is preferred.
    • Ability to interpret engineers’ and designers’ notes and sketches for incorporation into design documents is necessary.
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows-based programs is required.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays, is required.
    • Effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities are necessary.
    • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
