Lead QA Engineer - Quality Assurance and Automation Specialist
Location: Hybrid (West Palm Beach, FL or Atlanta, GA) - Onsite 2-3 days per week

Salary Range: $100k - $130k
We are looking for an experienced Lead QA Engineer to define testing processes, automate regression and performance test suites, and ensure day-to-day quality requirements are met. This role involves leading both onshore and offshore teams, working across various projects such as internal ERP systems, customer-facing e-commerce platforms, and third-party integrations. The position offers hybrid work flexibility, with onsite work required at either the West Palm Beach or Atlanta offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team in developing and executing comprehensive test strategies.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for Python/React web applications.
- Create, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Work closely with development, product, and design teams to determine testing needs and provide feedback on product quality.
- Mentor and guide QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and quality assurance.
- Analyze test results, report defects, and track them to resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging QA and automation technologies.
- Contribute to establishing best practices in QA and software development processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering, with a focus on automation testing.
- Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Tricentis, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of Python and experience with testing frameworks like pytest or unittest.
- Experience with React testing tools (e.g., Jest, Enzyme).
- Proven experience leading testing teams and managing testing projects.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Knowledge of AWS platform and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting at either the West Palm Beach or Atlanta office.
