Job Title: Lead Dental Receptionist

We are seeking a Lead Receptionist to join our team and help us continue our mission.
Position Overview: The Lead Receptionist will be responsible for managing front office operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day administration, and providing excellent customer service to our patients. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a dental setting, a passion for patient care, and proficiency in multiple languages, in addition to fluent English.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar.
Answer phone calls, handle inquiries, and provide information about services.
Verify patient insurance and handle patient billing inquiries.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow and communication.
Train and supervise front desk staff, providing ongoing guidance and support.
Assist in managing inventory and ordering dental supplies as needed.
Handle any issues or concerns that arise, always prioritizing customer service.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in healthcare administration or related field is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a dental reception role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead position.
Fluent in English is a must; proficiency in additional languages is strongly preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
