Responsibilities: • Measure, cut, shape, and smooth carpentry materials • Check existing sketches and blueprints to understand project requirements • Confirm flooring, roofing, and drywall are level and compatible • Sculpt and piece together siding, drywall, kitchen cabinets, and furniture • Lead and coordinate construction and repair projects, including planning, scheduling, and executing tasks efficiently. • Demonstrate proficiency in a variety of construction and repair tasks, including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and general maintenance. • Supervise assistant technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they work effectively and safely. • Ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and company quality guidelines. • Enforce safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment for all team members. • Manage and maintain tools, equipment, and materials needed for projects, ensuring they are in good working condition. • Interact with clients professionally, addressing their questions and concerns while providing excellent customer service. • Maintain accurate project records, including work orders and time tracking. • Identify and resolve issues that may arise during construction or repair projects, adapting to changing conditions and unforeseen challenges. • Monitor project budgets, control expenses, and minimize waste to ensure cost-effective project execution. Qualifications: • Strong physical condition and excellent hand dexterity • Candidate must have successfully completed a carpentry apprenticeship • Precise measuring and math skills are required • Must have prior construction, remodeling, and/or restoration work experience • Must have a valid driver’s license • Must have excellent customer service skills Experience in any of these trades is desired: • Millwork and trim • Doors • Windows • Siding • Finish carpentry • Drywall • Paint • Tile • Laminate floor • Engineered wood floor • Carpet installs • Vinyl installs • Cabinetry • Framing Compensation: $25 - $35 hourly DOE
