The services rendered by our Pool Scouts consist of: Opening and Closing/winterizing pools and spas; weekly / bi-weekly routine cleaning services for pools and spas, specialty services for pools and spa, along with repairs.

Pool Scouts is a company dedicated to providing a safe and reliable work environment for all its employees. Pool Scouts is looking for a LEAD REPAIR TECHNICIAN with a natural work ethic, and a positive/flexible attitude.

Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Be willing to submit to a nationwide background check.
Clean MVR
Must be available to work 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with some potential weekend work.
Must have a valid driver's license without restrictions (you must have a license in order to operate our company vehicles, so this is non-optional).
Must have a reliable form of transportation.
Ability to walk for long periods of time in extreme outdoor temperature
Must be prepared to work in the rain.
Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Proficiency in various electronic devices and applications for effective communication/information sharing.
Knowledge of pools is a plus. Mechanical acumen also a plus.
Duties and Skills
Maintain clean shed and van
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Experienced Needed Ability to work on:
pumps and motors
chlorinators
minor plumbing
minor electrical hook ups
specialty cleanings: green cleans, salt cell cleanings, cartridge cleanings, sand filter cleanings
Hours are not set, nor are they guaranteed.
All positions are hourly pay and pay range is based on prior expertise, certification and if you can do additional repairs. Hours are not set, nor are they guaranteed. The position is season, but near full time during the April – October pool season.
Pay range $19-$21 dependent on experience, advance opportunities available. Commission on some repairs.
