Job Summary and QualificationsAs a leader in the sanitation team, this role is pivotal in ensuring an infection-free environment in healthcare facilities. Beyond cleaning tasks, this position involves coordinating efforts to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and infection prevention.
Responsibilities- Lead a team-based department focusing on sanitation in patient rooms and throughout the facility.
- Ensure top-quality service delivery, maintaining a clean and inviting environment for patients and visitors.
- Operate autonomously while managing varying tasks and responsibilities.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including moving, lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment and supplies.
- Carry the department phone and respond to requests promptly and efficiently.
Qualifications- No prior experience required, but preference will be given to candidates with environmental cleaning experience, especially in healthcare settings.
- Two years of hospital experience preferred.
- Ability to use job-specific equipment for cleaning and maintenance.
- Must be able to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions.
