Security Alarm Smart Solutions Technician
Job Description-Immediate Opening
General Purpose:
Combines different technologies such as home theater, security, lighting control, access control, networking, and smart devices
Ensures compatibility and smooth communication between devices (e.g., making sure a smart thermostat, security system, and A/V setup work together seamlessly)
Customizes solutions based on the specific needs of the client, whether in a home or commercial setting
Programs and configures control systems and user interfaces (e.g., touch panels, mobile apps, remotes)
Provides ongoing support and troubleshooting for integrated systems
Responsible for the installation, servicing, and repair of home theater systems, security cameras, smart home devices, and other low-voltage applications. This role also supports both residential and commercial clients with system setup, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
General Knowledge Required:
Solid experience with low voltage systems, including security alarm systems, home theater, security cameras, and audio/video equipment
Familiarity with access control systems is a plus
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in low-voltage installation and service
